# Parent Points

Status: Closed testing

> Keeping track of tasks, effort and rewards can become another job for parents. Parent Points puts family routines, point balances and shared goals in one simple Android app, making everyday progress easier to see.

Parent Points is an Android app I built to help families organise tasks, recognise effort and work towards rewards they choose together. It combines practical product thinking with native mobile interactions.

## The problem

Parents need a simple, repeatable interaction that fits into a busy day. The app has to make balances, tasks and rewards clear without turning a small moment into administration.

## What I built

The interface brings children and point balances forward, with direct actions for awarding points. Tasks, rewards and history have clear places in the navigation. The wider product includes optional shared workspaces for adults.

## Inside the project

- Native Android design and implementation
- Tasks, points, rewards and a readable history
- Local use and optional adult sharing
- Iteration through closed testing and release preparation

## Relevance

Useful when your idea needs a mobile product, a thoughtful daily interaction or a working prototype that can progress towards release.

The app is in closed testing. The genuine app capture uses fictional demo data.
